didn't know where to post this, sorry.
I'm wanting a decent tuner to set up my guitars, the cheap one I have now is just that, cheap and not very accurate.

    what do you guys use?
    thanks

I've got a Boss TU-2 and it works perfectly, though if I was buying now I'd get a TC Polytune, you can strum all 6 strings at once and it tells you which ones are out.

I've got two Snark and a Cherub (clip ons). All seem to work fine. For cost and accuracy, check out the Peterson Strobe Clip on.

I like clip-on tuners for quiet situations, but they can misread if the band is blasting. I use a TU2 when playing, a Korg to tune before going on.

If you have an iPhone, download the Peterson Strobe tuner app. It's $10 and beats every other tuner out there by a mile. The only thing I've found that is its equal is...a real, old school, $500-$3000 Peterson strobe tuner.

Another good app is the Pano tuner. Free if you don't mind ads.

It depends on which guitar rig I am using. If I am playing one of my synth equipped guitars, I use the tuner on my GR09 module via the synth pickup. My "non-synth gig rig" consists of volume pedal, TU2, compressor, delay.

My "grab it and go quick" rig is a Planet Waves tuner, compressor, and delay in a Boss BCB-3.

They all work equally well on the "job" or to do a set-up/intonation with.
