Almost every guitar I buy new or used (mostly used), when I go to set it up, the tuners are loose, whether it’s the nuts in front, screws in back, screws holding the keys, it doesn’t matter. Sometimes the nuts on the front of the headstock are so loose they’re rattling and close to falling off!

Am I alone on this? I mean, I’m not cranking them down to the point of marring the headstock, but please …

Just got an ASAT Bluesboy semi-hollow and sure enough …

OK, rant off …

Very common, even on new guitars. One of the first things I do with a new or used one is to check all the screws. Usually even before changing the strings.
