I picked up this bass at a pawn shop the other day......feels and plays great, but I've never seen these pickups on a Fender Jazz bass before. I'm mostly an electric/acoustic 6 string player so bass is not my strong suit, but I'm just trying to figure this out. Doing a serial number search tells me 2013-2014 made in Mexico. The "Jazz Bass" logo on the front looks a little close together, like there's no space. It's mainly the pickups that are throwing me though. I see sets like this on Precisions all the time, but not two sets, and not on a Jazz bass.

A Precision body with a Jazz neck maybe?

    Thanks!

i don't recall Fender ever making such a bass. My best guess is a frankenbass psrtscaster.

It's a Fender Blacktop Jazz Bass.
