Well worth the watch.
watched it yesterday...i left a comment...look for me!
You buy enough guitars, you get scammed. This guy is bonkers.
He sure does appear to be a gullible type.
Uhhh.... not sure if srs.
Getting scammed seems to be his M.O.
. . . those mods are not gonna be considered "upgrades" when that guitar is listed w/ Craig . . .
Ha I fell into it and thought he really was gonna talk about the fake slash Les Paul,
I like trogly but I think he could have handled his other scam video differently.
As others point out it appears he doesn’t really have intentions of dealing with the scammers, which in new scammers eyes means “hey I can scam this guy and he does nothing”
Although I’m sure off camera he may handle it differently and not let all his cards be known by the public
Back to the video, I could totally see some of those crazy New York City hipsters using this little guitar in their noise/“art” group
I’m so sick and board I actually went looking for it!
“Haha pretty good man” I thought I was going to see a ground breaking zinger!
Edit: I’m ashamed of myself for actually looking (I’m lame)
I can’t believe I watched the entire video.
I rarely make it through any of his vids, so I don't even look any more.
just giving support...and i never implied my comment was any good
I don't dislike Trogly, but I'm kinda tired of him, so I rarely watch anymore. There have always been scammers in the guitar biz. Buyer beware.
So if you don't mind me asking, what kind of board have you become?
- A chopping board
- A skate board
- A black board
- A Chess board
- A bulletin board
Sheesh I never thought people could get so sick, it would actually tun them into boards.
Some of his videos are good. Others are him just shopping for guitars on reverb and stuff.. . I don't care to watch a video of a guy guitar shopping online so I skip those. He did come across as a pushover on the earlier video where the luthier had a bunch of his guitars. He must have shipped the guitars to the guy right? So he knows where he lives right? So go get your damn guitars.... that video really threw me for a loop. Have a spine dude.
I’m amazed trogly gets enough views to make money from YouTube, I guess I’m not an “unboxing” guy.
He's cornered the niche of nerd
He showed up in my recommends, so sometimes his videos play automatically.
I saw the video yesterday where he got two Tommy Iommi Monkey SGs - one left hand and one right hand. He said he paid $40K for both guitars. Hard to tell if he makes money from buying and selling gear, or from his youtube channel.
I like his content. Some of the jokes are eye-roll inducing but it's nice to get some lighthearted, reasonably informative content these days. His playing is lacking but I like his enthusiasm for Guitars.
does Trogly even play guitar?
