A friend sent me this image. At first, I was sure it was Photoshop. Why would anyone have three identical necks?
But then, I noticed the reflections on the body suggesting it's real.
So ... Why???? What's the point of this? 0_IMG-20210511-WA0000.jpg

I don't know... Still looks pretty fake to me. I can't say anything specific, but it just hits my brain funny. Photoshop is a powerful tool.

I guess. I keep going back and forth. The main reason I suspect it might be Photoshop is that I am not seeing the point of it. Then again, many things are pointless. :)

I don't know... I think it might be real. Look at the tuning keys on each of the three headstocks.

All I can think of is that each neck has a different tuning, but what a ridiculous pain in the butt when you can just have other guitars on stage with you.

Alternate tunings had not occurred to me. Good point. But yeah, still overkill if that's the case.

fake. Where's the switch to go from guitar to guitar? Looks like a standard tele control. I suppose the 3 way could select each guitar

It looks like three volume controls to me.

And judging by the intro, @_MementoMori_ was right about the tuning.

By the way... Just in case you're not familiar, here's a sample from that band. I'd never heard of them until today, and I was ok with that.

    Please don't hate me...

But I completely understand if you do.

The headstock shapes in the first pic look near G&L-ish.

Very cool video, though he only uses the top neck! I can see something like that for drop/alternate tunings. Of course, it would have to made from Balsa wood...

He does use the two bottom necks at the very beginning. They are in open tuning. Funnily enough, he holds the bottom neck while he strums the middle one, and he holds the middle one while he strums the bottom one.

In this case, I can think of a few reasons. :D
