Not sure why it took me so long to try boosting my Carcosa with a treble booster. I guess I just assumed it would be too noisy and the Carcosa has way more gain than I’d ever need.

I’ve always liked the Carcosa, but with a treble booster (Catalinbread Naga Viper) I absolutely love it!

I’m using the ‘Demhe’ setting on the Carcosa. The Naga Viper cuts some bass, fills in the mids, and brings the dynamics to another level. It cleans up beautifully with the guitar volume, that’s what I’m enjoying the most. Never gets completely clean, but it’s a great crunch that you can play chords with. Very sensitive to picking dynamics.

Give it a whirl, you might love it as much as I do!

We need a sound clip! I’m always open to hearing alternatives to pedals and pedal combos that seem to be the norm.
