I've been using Lyric Pad for a few years and recently got another tablet for back up although I have the app and lyrics stored in my computer. To transfer to the new tablet I simply dragged it over

My band did this recently. I tried a couple of different apps, but OnSong worked the best for us. It scrolls the lyrics and let's you create set lists. You can import various song formats, but depending on the format, you may have to make some edits. Overall, it's been great for learning new songs and having on hand for gigs when someone requests a song.

That could be said for any piece of gear. I wish I could still memorize stuff like I could when I was younger, but I can't. The technology is there and it looks better then my plastic notebook with the pages falling out.

that plastic notebook is cheap and can handle getting beer spilled on it, falling off the stand, or getting stomped on. or getting hit by fireworks.

maybe it's the kind of shows i'm used to.
