    I was brought up on black-eyed peas and greens (collard, mustard, etc.) as the New Year's tradition. It did not work this year.

    Black eyed peas, collard greens, pork roast. I despise the first two so I guess I am just out of luck.

    BEPs w/lots of jalapeno in Texas growing up. Don't actually know what the traditions are in NM, but I'm not doing tamales again for a while, that was a whole thing on Christmas.
