I think it’s Jerry Reid, and they were produced in the early 2000s.
The late Jerry Reid was the late Mel Tillis’ lead guitarist.
Great player!
The Tradition guitars are/were made in Korea.
They often have three pickups and a unique tremelo system.
I believe the company was based in D/FW(?), Tx, but the guitars were MIK.
I have seen and played several, and they’re good!

Met Jerry Reid one after a Gillis show. Really nice guy, and carried the show. The show was 1 1/2 hours, and Tillis was onstage for 20 minutes. Reid led the band and did the rest!

Sorry for the spelling. I'm had for that . Ha .There is one at our local music shop for $650.00 gold hardware. Nice guitar. Was just wondering if that price was in range ,above or below.

I also met Jerry Reed he was one of the funniest and nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of talking with, we were both waiting on a flight, we talked about fishing and about of all things ball caps and football. I asked him about what guitar he played during the east bound and down sessions and his response was as honest as can be he said "Hell son I don't remember, whatever was handy" class act and a great loss to the world.

That is so cool, great story. He just seems like such a cool guy, and he is a fantastic player.

i had a beautiful sunburst one but the quality was cheap in my opinion. had the funky t inlays on the neck instead of dots. cost me a couple hundred and didn't keep it long. maybe mine was a "student" model?
