IMG_0228.JPG IMG_0231.JPG PRS came out with a couple of special guitars this month that really got my attention. They are a semi hollow Vela and a semi hollow CE 24 made with 150 year old reclaimed wood from Brazil. They are limited to 300 units of each model. I talked to the guys at Wildwood and they said they had ordered 10 of each. I watched there new arrivals and saw a couple on there but they disappeared in a day. Called them up and they had already sold 7or 8 of them. They said they were selling faster than they could post them. They posted two that day and they were both beautiful. One was very yellow and mildly figured. The one I chose was this one here. When I put my deposit down on the phone I thought about my 96 Ricky 330 that I never play and asked him if he took trade ins. He told me they were really looking for Ricky's. Score!! I took it to the store and they gave me what I was asking for on the Rick and I came home with this little beauty. Plays and sounds incredible. Really love these 85/15 humbuckers.

Boy I love this guitar. The 85/15 pickups are remarkable. Plays like a dream, and the PRS wang bar is the best I've ever owned. Not missing my Ricky at all.

WOW. I had been eyeing a semi hollow PRS when I got my thinline. That's an amazing guitar, congrats.

Oh holy cow gitold! I had my eye on one of those from wildwood too. Crap I'm too slow. Congrats on the CE24. Now I really wish I would have gone for it. That guitar is a thing of beauty.

Beautiful guitar. And kudos to the guys at Wildwood for striking a winning deal for both parties.

What a sense of irony, I got the last PRS reclaimed CE 24 from Wildwood.

I just got my guitar on Wednesday. Can't put it down, this is an amazing guitar to play. I have never owned a PRS before, but I must say they are well-made and nice to play guitars.
