I don't know how to set up a poll, but wondering opinions on above. I have a 2012 Deluxe Nashvill Tele, but I think I would like a 12" radius fingerboard. Would I be better off trading it for a newer model, or simply switching out the neck?

I like the idea of switching out the neck, because I can always put it back if I ever want to, but maybe an even trade would be better if I don't have to outlay any cash. Thanks in advance.

Switch out Neck and see if you like. Then sell old Neck! I think you might be more "Out of Pocket", on a Guitar Trade vs a Neck Change. I lived in Tucson 20 years, (1975-1995), then Phoenix for 10 years, before moving up here in Idaho. My Old Bones want the "Heat" back! Too freaking cold here?

I've got four of the early version, MIM Deluxe Nashville. IMO, the instrument was made worse, with every change that was made. And those who can reliably tell the difference between two Teles, otherwise identical and one is 9.5 and one is 12", well, I haven't met such a person yet.

The 12" radius necks start when the current MIM Deluxe series was released in 2016 (mid-year if I'm remembering correctly).

The Deluxe have the 12" if you can find a neck. Fender replacement necks were $225, are they still? Do they sell the Deluxe for that I wonder?

Are you guys saying Fender went to 12" radius on most all the modern guitars? UGH I hope not!

The new Nashville Tele’s have those confounded noiseless pickups. And you lose rosewood fretboards for Pao Ferro.
