Almost any topic can inspire heated discussion among hot heads. I read through the thread and can only come to one conclusion. There are valid arguments on both sides for almost all of them. In fact there’s only one where my position is fixed in stone. Dentists... I’d rather not have to go.
Hotter heads prevail?
1. How other guitarists should wind their strings around their tuners.
2. How high the action should be.
3. Fret radius and probably other specs.
3. What the best guitar, amp tubes, etc. are, and convinced such a thing exists.

Tone is in your hands. Nonsense : equipment (guitar, pickups, tube amps, speakers, tubes) is a major part of my (and probably your) tone.
