Look. The #1 thing I have seen more out of control fighting about, among musicians?

Tobacco. More specifically, cigarettes. They're too bored with the music to fight about that.

Has no one yet mentioned Joe Bonamassa?

Or is it just because we all agree on him? (We should, I think)

I'd make a list of things we can safely discuss without getting into arguments.

That would be a much shorter list!

    I'll start:
Nickel vs bronze strings on electric guitars.
OK that's all I got so far.

Tankless gas at work has lots of problems and needs to be replaced soon.
Tankless electric requires 300a service, plus may not keep up your shower temp when the incoming water drops below 48f.

    Gas???
    What gas???
    Natural gas or LP gas???

A friend did a sub gig there, the wildness factor way overrated per him.

Bob Wills banned wives and girlfriends.

Cheap beer and wine + lonely women + apparently single band members + golf carts = The Villages.

My lady is all I want. But, according to lonely widows in Century Village, Kings Point, and other such communities, I’d be considered “a catch” - because I have most of my hair, most of my own teeth, and I can still drive at night. :)

My in-laws used to live in Century Village at Pembroke Pines. Three days after my former mother-in-law passed, the women were lining up at my former father-in-law’s door with casseroles. Dressed as temptingly as was possible for them. No other word but “voracious” was really applicable.

That is the funniest thing I have seen in years.
So real, so redneck, and so true.
    So Texan!
I’ve seen so much interpersonal drama when spouses of both genders get jealous of either the band itself, or the attention the band members get.
    Whee!
