    I will +1 Coxon and Greenwood. Black is one of my favorites, but I wouldn't consider him a great player? IMHO, of course :)

    Roy Buchanan has to be the top Tele player.

    On a more current national scale, Brad Paisley and Vince Gill set the standard.

    Redd Volkaert is amazingly good, although not so well known.

    I smile every time I listen to John Stannard play.

    Road trip time! He used to come through Sherman, Texas (home of Austin College) a bunch during the 80's. He was always one of the best, most energetic performers out there! And I'd love to see the Texas Tornados!
