It's about that time when I rotate a few guitars in and out of storage, and among the ones getting the love this month is my Country Squire.

I nearly forgot what a cool guitar this is. It violates just about every rule of the Tele purist I consider myself to be (a trem system? Two different humbuckers??), but it plays really well and delivers tones none of my other T-bodies can deliver.

Fret-Kings are pretty underrated guitars IMO. If you ever have a chance to play one, take it. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Long MIA (missing in action) member blowtorch had several Fret Kings, as I recall.

That dude had so many guitars, I was surprised he could keep track of them all!

Kinda miss his contrary self, though.
