It should be good!

Bernie was mentioned a lot in Don Felder's bio on his time with the Eagles.

(They both knew each other from their Florida Days around Gainesville.)

Apparently, Bernie was a workout freak... he was built like a tank and strong.

His relationship with Glenn Frey was not very good and they often went at it, till Bernie would get in Glenn's face and he would back down.

Bernie added a lot of instrumental textural validity to the Eagles early Country Rock contributions.

And, a few good songs, too.

I'll check it out!

Thanks!

imo.

Have you heard his new rekkid? It's good. And it prominently features the Fender Telecaster.

If you're unaware, Bernie is the guy that played guitar, banjo, B-bender, mandolin, and other stuff on many of the Eagles' classic hits.

Sounds like something straight from the heart. I’ll have to dig a little deeper into his album or EP. I always loved the Eagles in that era.his solo on Peaceful Easy Feeling was so tasteful I had to learn it without improvisation. It was perfect.

Ill watch this soon. BL is one of my fav musicians, master of the universe kind of chops on anything strings. I also think highly of Don Felder. I can honestly say, my fav Eagles tunes include one of them, exclusively.

I saw Eagles with Bernie at the Akron Rubber Bowl in 1972. The tickets were ridiculously cheap, like $4.50. They opened, then Mahavishnu Orchestra played, then Yes closed the show. It would have been incredible except somewhere between McLaughlin and Yes, the left side of the PA conked out.

It was a strange show. Right after Eagles, things started going South. McLaughlin was having troubles with an EchoPlex, and eventually got frustrated and kicked it off the stage. The roadies had to run out and rehook his cords. Then, when Yes started, Jon Anderson made remarks about how bad the air in Akron smelled (they still made tires there at the time), and about some drug dealer that was walking around in the stands yelling "Quaaludes!". And the left side of the PA died, all in all, a typical 70's show.
