Too many amps: which would you ditch/relocate?

Our band room has a dilemma: too much stuff and too little space.

I’m part of the problem having 3 tube amps all over the place. We didn’t have this problem until a new member to the band room arrived AND my ’65 Twin reissue was fixed and got back to the service.

So, if one plays mostly Beatles, which one of these three would you relocate elsewhere?

    ’65 Princeton reissue

I’m kinda leaning towards the Twin. One can’t play Beatles without a Vox. Period. And Princeton sounds so sweet without pedals when volume is around 4-5. Twin is, well, it’s nice and bright with headroom to spare to all other band rooms in the premises.

    What would you ditch?

Sounds like the Twin makes sense to ditch.

If you feel you can get the Princeton in the sweet spot and it’s loud enough for you, that’s a good option to have.

And the Vox for Beatles is just a given.

Since you have the Princeton, I'd also say the Twin is the one to ditch. I ditched mine 10 or 12 years ago and honestly haven't missed it once. Just no need for that kind of volume today.

I agree, ditch the Twin. The Vox is obvious for your purposes. The Princeton gives you more of an alternative sound/feel than the Twin.

I'm with the rest. The twin would be expendable.

guitars/amps/pedals are for buying, not selling. Get a bigger space

    ...and better musical taste ;):)

If you like the princeton best, keep it. If you sell the vox, invest the money into a Tech21 Liverpool.

Do you where that Twin would go to if ditched? As my bedroom amp #2

Yep, ditch the twin. Between the other two I probably like the Princeton with a mic for space & weight issues, but the AC30 is a great amp.

You already know what to do. The Princeton reverb is the most versatile, awesome sounding amp known to man, and it makes no sense to get rid of a vox when you're covering the beatles. The twin is a thousand pounds, and only sounds right when it's loud enough to shatter wine glasses. Lose it.

The Twin would be first out.
Then, if I had to choose between a Vox and the Princeton, I’d keep the Princeton. It’s more versatile.
Call me a heretic but I don’t think you need a Vox to play early BeaTles.

If it were me? It would be the Princeton. And I wouldn’t even have to think about it. I dislike all BF/SF Fender amps, but I *really* dislike Princetons and Champs. A Twin is big and heavy, but at least it’s usable. I can actually see a reason for having one of those around. I realize this goes against all of the popular opinion in this neighborhood, but you asked.

I’d definitely keep the Vox. And not just cause you play a lot of Beatles. If it’s healthy it’s just the best sounding amp out of the three. YMMV.

Lose the princeton. The twin offers a lot more versatility by itself or with pedals. But if it it strictly a room issue it is clearly the twin.

I would find somewhere to store the amp you aren't using as much and bring it out of storage when it makes sense to do so.
I'm with Blowtorch on this one.
