    gridlock, mine is a 1962 also. I have the orig. Oxford but I am running an old reconed Jensen P12N. I tried a lot of different speakers but the Jensen is just perfect for me. Life is to short not to have a great amp!

    Original caps?
    Including the electrolytics?
    If so, I wouldn't even turn it on. You're likely to fry your Original transformers.

    Filter caps are new. It has been recently serviced. Still the amp will be going to my tech next week, once I replace the original handle.
