No - I came here to see if there was anyone with real knowledge on the subject, but all I've seen is a lot of hand waving with no numbers. The crux of engineering is in the numbers. See you all later.

As I suspected, we never found out who he was - and he came here just looking for an argument, not facts - and he was presented with plenty.

    Next.

If anyone is recapping their amp, it would be cool to re-amp the same guitar signal through it before and after the recap.

Might not change anyone's mind, but I'd love to listen to it

Has anyone ever tracked the members with the fewest posts before self-immolation occurred?

    ...I mean 19 IS pretty impressive.[emoji57]

Many of those 19 posts were duplicates of what he had just posted, and/or empty posts consisting of nothing but a quote from another post.

I think he was having a hard time figuring out how the forum works, which doesn't even involve electrical engineering or capacitors.

Anyway, I think crediting him with 19 posts is a stretch.

here is a real practical question? suppose I wanted to use two separate values, one for each pick up? For instance, in a standard Tele 2 single coil configuration, 250k pots with a standard 3way switch, having one cap value lower to bleed less off one pick up than the other??? How would I accomplish this without using any thing like a push pull and keep everything in the harness functioning as a standard 2 pup configuration. It seems that trying to pick a cap value for both pups is a bit of a compromise for each.

I think that you may be better served to start a new thread in either the "Just Pickups" or "Tele Home Depot" forums if your want a serious answer. This train wreck has pretty much run its course.

Plus, this is an amp forum, so I'd second this recommendation :D
