Thx! always a pleasure to see/hear Tommy. I'd like to see his Tele collection which is "in storage" down under.
Moon River on an (old) Esquire - exquisite!

Somehow I don’t think it’s the esquire or the Trainwreck that makes him sound so good. :)

In the second video, the single pickup Tele, what does the switch do. It looks like a three way, just wondering what it does?

The two last pieces he plays on the 52 esquire are magnificent.
    Thanks for posting!

First position is bridge PU with only volume and no tone.
Middle position is bridge with volume and tone for a mellower tone.
Third position is a fixed tone roll-off with a capacitor.

I found a CD at the Goodwill for $2 many moons ago. It's called The Journey. ) Tommy plays the hell out of a tele on that one. Great playing and killer tone.

Can't remember if he played Tomkins Teles, Fender Teles or Kinman Teles....but whatever guitar he plays is magic in his hands.

This is the most beautiful version of Moon River I‘ve heard so far. I‘ve got my own interpretation of this wonderful song but man, how poor it sounds compared to this!

*That‘s a custom shop Esquire? And he‘s playing thru that Fender amp or am I wrong?

    Wonderful, thanks for this post.

I love how he seems spontaneous and in the moment; sometimes he has a surprised look on his face, like "I can't believe I did that, I just thought of it, I didn't know it would sound that way".

He seems like a good egg :)

I’ve been there last spring and that was not funny. Take some rest, that’s the best thing you can do!

    Speaking of tunes

yeah , I am resting and sleep, wake up play some song , read some gear reports sleep, meditate
The fatigue is amazing, sometimes a 10 minute walk to grocery shop is exhausting ,sweating gasping, and feeling like I just done massive amounts of heavy labor. but slowly slowly the effects are receding.
72 year sold post cancer treatment patient , my dear doctor that I am very lucky to be alive.
He's a great guy and is very supportive , and speaking of "DOWN FOR THE DIRT NAP"
