OK, I've honestly not been at the sauce from early this morning but, anyone got any info. on this?

    http://tokai-guitars.co.uk/product/tokai-amplifier/

So, the Tokai UK website url is bona fide but is known to be experiencing 'lawsuit' issues again.
And, some other pages seem to be 12 months+ old, eg one page shows the TTE50 - now the TTE55 etc.

However, Tokai gear is still on sale over here and you can drill down thro' the website to find all manner of stuff ... but was quite amazed by this new (I think) web-page ... a hand-wired valve amp with a Jensen speaker @ £599 - but no further info.

The website layout is different to 2017s, when it was available ... but, using the TTE models as a guide, seems to be a year out of date; plus neither the Aus. nor Japan Tokai sites (just as points of reference) are showing anything about amps?

Are they re-introducing a Champ clone, despite their original TA-35 being solid state?
But, in the picture looks like there could be 3 white chicken-head knobs?

Any thoughts/knowledge out there ... or is it a load of hokum?

I will add nothing to your quest-but I have seen tube amps from back in the day from japan that were fender copies-which easily could have carried a tokai brand. I also have a couple of transistor radios that are tokai branded- also from late sixties early seventies.. I have used their guitars since the 80s and people just gave me the radios as a curio item.

Nice; it may be a replica of a Tweed Fender Champ?

No description. You don't even see the controls. Beware. Who knows what it is?

    Check what I found
    IMG_3420.JPG
Reverb, line out, 3 band EQ, headphone out

On the top it has volume an master volume.

My money is on this thing being a cheap SS practice amp with maybe spring reverb? If the bottom is a tank [emoji4]

    Thanks for that blille.
Believe that is indeed a picture of the 80s SS 'Tweed' clone they had out then.
Am now intrigued by the internal wiring with those 'dual' rear and top control plates!
Anyone ever seen that sort of design before?

My first thought was that it was like the SS Bronco but with Reverb.

Amps are gone from the website now.

I've seen very few Tokai amps, and all were solid-state.

Many of their guitars are absolutely outstanding instruments, though. My Tokai ES-125SB (a 1959 ES-335 copy)is a stunning guitar in every way.
