For three weeks the shelves were bare of TP and paper towels - all of the stores in our area were completely sold out.

I lucked out and scored a package of the butt wipes that are similar to baby wipes, otherwise it would have been rags.

I was born and raised with septic tanks and ya need to be careful what ya flush down the crapper.

Folks freaked out and went into a panic buying mode.

I have a buddy south of Denver down near Trinidad who has scored a job shuttling emergency railroad crews around to where they're most needed. Yesterday he took a crew over to a siding area where there were 87 railcars loaded full of TP. Today they are on their way to a town near you ;).

Go to Office Max or Office Depot. They carry cleaning supplies and paper products and I don’t think that most people think of going to a big office store for towel and tissue.

In DC our daughter went to Home Depot and they were well stocked. You have to go somewhere that is not conventional.

TP is scarce here in Austin these days but I've scored it every time I've lined up to be the first group in when the store opens in the morning. I've shopped later in the day and never seen any. Rumor has it Home Depot carries some so you might check that out if you have one around. Strange days indeed...Happy Hunting.

Office supply store online...but you'll have to use an alternative. Occasionally TP shows up on them, but I'd order these in a pinch. They probably be safer to flush than flushable wipe, with really aren't flushable, or regular home use paper towels. Although, they might be a little rough on your ass. I have enough TP for another month...after which I'm hoping it's back in stock.

there isn't any around here, no tp, no cleaner/disinfectant, no yeast... it is gone for a bit.

make the two rolls last 10 days and you should be back in luck OR you can pay a premium off ebay.

mom and pop markets will sell the cheap stuff a roll at a time for 2.00, but it is essentially what they stock for their restroom.

Bear in mind leaves are an option, but seasonal. If this situation runs into the Fall, your choices become a bit rougher - choose carefully...

It's times like these I wish the folks from inside the beltway paid closer attention to the application of this handy dandy convenience as lack of sincere usage is noticeable even out here on the left coast.

You may not believe this but I grew up in a rural part of a big city and we used outhouses.
