Today I find myself providing services for a craft beer festival. That's not so bad, right? A DJ, 16 brewers, and some food.
But then (cue suspense music here), the DJ has morphed into a 2-pc band featuring the local loud guy. And by loud, we're talking that every last person in the facility can hear the guitarist...except the guitarist.
So now I have pre-judged my afternoon as a disaster complete with arguments ranging from "Dude, I don't even have you in the house. It's all coming from the stage", to "I've asked him 3 times to bring the levels down...", to "You go see if you can get this guy in line because at this point I have given up that he knows we are serious and all I care about anymore is going home".
Wish me luck. And patience.

When the sound is bad you are mostly window dressing. Been there. Wear some interesting stage clothes.

Good luck!

Earplugs, a good buzz and don't forget to smile.
That’s my choice.
I once used, “Can’t we all just be in the mix?” to a clown that thought his poop didn’t stink but overbearing playing did. He didn’t understand the insult
Good luck and in this case patience isn’t a virtue, it’s a necessity

No longer with us: Jerry Garcia, no contest
Still with us: Jimmy Page, with Trey Anastasio a close runner-up
