How long do you chew a stick of gum before you spit it out?
Oh oh, must be getting closer to Halloween.
Does Your Chewing Gum Loose Its Flavor (On The Bedpost Overnight)
Until my jaw is sore. I count each chew as a step. That's how I get my 10,000 steps in every day.
Juicy fruit? Almost Immediately
Can't chew gum anymore.....
My teeth, you see.
You mean you're not supposed to eat it?
While I was coaching 3/4 Flag Football I needed to set a good example for the kids which meant no spitting. I chewed that gum for 1-2 hours. Not good. Glad the season is over so I can do my usual 30 minutes.
Some of that gum, you know the kind you find on the bottom of the seat at the movies, man that stuff gets old pretty fast. Hardly ever has any real flavor to boot.
A stick of gum lasts me about 10 seconds. I chewed bubblegum as a kid because I could afford it’s price and we could blow bubbles, but otherwise it’s like “it lost it’s taste so why keep chewing it?” the past 60+ years. I did used to like a couple of gums enough to perhaps spend my 5 cents on a pack, like the Teaberry stuff, but I never really got the reason people like Wrigley’s Doublemint or Chiclets or whatever past about 10 seconds. I can stretch a Chiclet out a bit longer if I don’t chew it but just slowly suck the flavoring off, but I don’t think that counts?
that is known as ABC gum, so's ya know.
No time. I have not chewed gum in fifty years.
I'm an ex-smoker ( a long, long, time ago, but hardcore), and from time to time, go through gum chewing cycles, that sometimes go for years.
Am chewing gum now ( not every day, but often), always have on hand
And just like with old smoking habit,
I have quirks:
I chew just 1/2 a stick of either Trident Cinnamon or Spearmint gum ( it has to be Trident!) for probably 3 hours, and oftem, on the way to, and during a gig!
I often chew gum while singing, which probably looks dumb ( and crude, sorry!), but it does not affect my singing, and it calms me down, a bit.
Plus it's a really small piece of gum, so maybe not too distracting?
I wrote a song with these lines:
“You’re coming at me like the Doublemint twins,
And I feel like a fish without any fins,
I can’t fend you off,
I can’t swim away”
We’ll, I like it, and I don’t care what anybody else thinks.
Can’t remember the last time I chewed gum. Must be decades.
I find it hard to walk and chew gum at the same time.
Just walking can be difficult.
The worst gum I ever had was from a machine in a rest room. It tasted like rubber.
