Only 2 pieces of candy?
That concerns me! First sweetwater...then
What really scares me is that the last time I got candy from them, I mentioned in front of ALEXA that the only two I ever eat are the Tootsie Rolls and the Bit o Honeys !!!
Still, a few more of those would have been fine and dandy.
I recently returned a guitar to Sweetwater. I'm glad they didn't ask for their candy back!
Looks like one of their engineers had the munchies and engineered himself a way to satisfy them by pilfering the candy.
This is a truly sad development, very sad, very, very sad.
I had 5 pieces of candy in my Sweetwater shipment last week.
Wait...they give candy? Why am I buying from the other guys?
The amount of candy is proportional to the purchase price?
I ask because I have a friend that bought a SSL Desk from Sweetwater for a studio he is working on, I can only imagine the sheer amount of candy that you could get with a 100k mixer
Call your sales rep and they will send you more
Lets see...they offer you candy. They monitor your purchases and quiz you about it. They call you at work constantly to "check in". Maybe they should change their name to Stalkwater.
Hardly seems worth all the phone calls.
I've bought four or five guitars, six amps, several pedals, cables, tuners and miscellaneous parts from them over the years. I've been to their showroom once.
I've never received a single phone call or taken a quiz.
I have called "my" sales guy to talk to him about a particular guitar I am interested in buying. They also get stuff shipped out very quickly. My only return (done in person) was so smooth and easy I had to ask "is that it?".
In fact, I'll go so far as to call out by name - Frank Gerdtz does a fantastic job of making sure that every item I have received was absolutely flawless.
In contrast, I wouldn't pee on the folks over at GC if they were on fire.
I'm waiting for their huge Spring pro gear catalog. They don't send candy with that.
Last time had Bit O Honey it cost me $1,000 for a new crown.
Candy? That does it. I’m starting an online guitar store that gives you a case of free craft-brewed beer when you buy a guitar.
Something like 10 years ago I asked to no longer be called.
Haven’t been called since.
Sometimes it is easier to curse the darkness than to light a candle
Why do they insist on phone calls? I’m not buying through the internet because I enjoy human interaction...
I'm diabetic, so next time I get a Sweetwater order you can have my candy.
