    Mine so far;
    1. Fender Stratocaster ( and this is not about Strat vs Tele, I think the Telecaster is very modern, 50's modern, whereas the Strat is timeless)
    I don't think any other object in history ever resembled a Strat. And to think it was designed by a committee of working musicians , factory workers, and an engineer.

    2. Douglas DC 3. Modern airliners still resemble it.

    Post yours, with pics and whys.

    Teles are timeless, and are not just some 50s nostalgia. Strats are classic, but they have worn out their welcome with me, so no, not timeless, just classic. I yawn at most Strats I see, because most are generic knock offs, or more same-O same-O. They of course continue to get slobbered over like Les Pauls. No big deal, there are certainly 3 to 4 Strats to go around for everyone if they wanted to play a guitar lol :)

    Nah, Leo got the Fender Guitar right when he made the Master of Jazz. It slays. I’m not a recent fan boi either, the Jazzmaster was the only guitar I wanted since I was 13. The extra switches are asking to be messed with. The body shape has balance, the pickguard will catch any stray pick scratch (unless you play behind the bridge, and You KNOW we play behind the bridge lol). The trem actually stays in tune (looking at you Strat), it’s smooth as a Bigsby. If the Strat was riding on the coming Jet Age, it was the JM that pushed for flying saucers. :D

    I'm assembling a Jazz partscaster now, I think they are elegant. It took me years after seeing countless greasy, dusty , fingerprinted , boring , nameless Strat copies to come to my conclusion.

    Lots of great ones so far. Here's one I like. The ergonomics of this gun are as good or better than many rifles being made today. Of course, they could do this with the lower chamber pressures back then I guess.
