I would have posted the whole "About Time" album, but Take to the Final Hour is good enough.

    Oh boy.... no no no!

I tried this once being a smart bottom and told my uncle this time made by man b.s, my uncle who is much smarter than I retorted

Time is a natural progression of everything whether you know about it or not

Man didn’t invent time man invented a word for it

That bullfrog might not have the concept but I’m sure he’s still going to sleep (a process based on circadian rhythm which can be explained as natural timing) and that bullfrog sure knows it’s not gonna last forever another great consequence of time

Dang you man made time hippies!

If time wasn’t a thing then maybe my grass wouldn’t grow so fast on the lawn of which I tell you to stay off of!

    [Verse 1]
We are the reasons of darkness
The spies who came in from the cold
    We'll never see tomorrow
We're never gonna get that old

    We're the cornerstone tomboys
Waitin' on a dead end street
We're the last ones into battle
    The last ones to retreat

    [Chorus]
    We lead desperate lives
    We are the 99's

    [Verse 2]
    We are the innocence lost
    The defiants, the broken denied
    We're the best kept secret
In a world where no one survives
We're the scream in the silence
The sinners, the saints of the beat
    We're the misjudged, the begrudged
    The faces that nobody sees

    [Chorus]
    We lead desperate lives
    We are the 99's

    [Verse 3]
    We are your social imperfections
Accept us for what we are
We are the dark side in mourning
We're never gonna show our scars
We've been pieced by your arrows
    We've been pierced in steel
You've tried to break our spirit
    But you never will

    [Chorus]
    We lead desperate lives
    We are the 99's

    [Outro]
    These are desperate times
    We are the 99's

The past present and future may all exist together. And we just experience a slice of it. That's kind of like not existing. More of a dimension than a progression. Or more likely, only the present exists. That's also kind of like time not existing. On the other hand, we play music. Time is kind of our language... or maybe just the lines on the paper. The most powerful music f**ks with it a little though.
