This thought was running through my head this morning as I was in the garage doing deadlifts.
Good luck on the surgery, Jup. Hope you're back up and back to normal soon!
I tried getting into weights. They're just so heavy...
I always thought the best workout was wax on wax off/paint the fence/sand the floor. Low stress on joints and tendons but it also makes you a karate master on the side
I know a lot of people who go to a gym but then pay someone to labour in their garden. Never mind the finance, I just don't get this
Hope the surgery went well!
I had that surgery twice. With luck, you won't need to sneeze anytime before your innards are satisfactorily mended.
Aw man, don't jinx it!
This is why I stick to 12 oz. curls...
Take care Jup!
Don't tell people you did it lifting weights.
Tell them you did it lifting something heavy in the bathroom
I hope you have a Speedy Recovery
I wonder if the doctor will paint your groin DPP?
I don't know if it would make a difference. (let me just check...)
@Jupiter, are you a dog?
Either way, seeing as it's metalflake, I'm pretty sure it would make a difference.
I think I did mine lifting a radiator off the wall that 3 men struggled to lift back on
Trouble is, 'radiator lifting' didn't sound very macho so I joked that I was attacked by 10 large men at once
Eventually my colleague pointed out this was so funny to him as it sounded like a multiple member same sex boy bonanza
Perhaps don't tell people it happened during heavy bathroom action, unless that is the impression you are trying to make....
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I got mine when a surgery scar from my car crash 21 years ago gave way about 18 months ago. Still fighting workers compensation to cover it. They agree it's work related, just don't agree to all that needs done to repair it (5 inches long).
I don't know what's more annoying, wearing a huge band 24-7 or dealing with my gov't.
I know which one I'd say...
Is it done yet?
Jup: Make a solid Lignum Vitae guitar to practice your weight lifting. Those lightweight 335's ain't got nuthin on LV Strats.
I hope the surgery goes well - Don't cough for at least a month.
Hope all goes well Jupiter, painted or not.
Playlist for Jupe while he's waiting? I'll start
Sounds the the Cardigan's cover of Iron Man to me...
