Just my two cents - that huge f hole looks incredible!

It’s both classic-looking and also new. Which is perfect for a guitar imo.

Yeah I agree, I was thinking of perhaps a more rounded Tele style that is symmetrical, then you could have the rings on both sides mirroring each other and place the controls around one of them like on a 335. Could even work with a more traditional acoustic shape, two large rings on the lower bout and a smaller ring on the upper bass bout to mirror the shape of the cutaway on the other side?

I unhelpfully drew another f-hole on the guitar you already built because I really like the shape!
Not a final thing, just having some fun with design, I've never done a guitar with f-holes in it.

First off, good to have you back, I know very well the vagrancy of medical problems. Now to the issues at hand, not really crazy about any F hole here except a strong HELL no on the tele one.Sucks on a tele much less here. Now on the flip side I've done many unconventional things to strong reactions. This is the traditional American South and all that implies so when I made my Southwest inspired mountain dulcimers there was strong reaction among my chums

From the color scheme, the prickly pear cactus motiff to the F holes inspired by Danae (Navajo) sand paintings and blankets it was all me, not this area.So if this guitar IS you as I suspect, make these decisions with who you are in mind, not what a guitar is :D

My thought is start with the large one, reduce it a bit and move the center bar back to a position between the bridge and trem
