Was my number one band for years. Bought "Live at the Forum" around 1970, my first record. While I don't listen to them much any more (or any other rock group from that period), I still have that album and many others of theirs.

I was a fan of theirs. Enjoyed Mike Allsup's guitar fills very much. I really liked their version of the Band's "Chest Fever" and also "Try A Little Tenderness."

About six months ago we played "Shambala" as the closing outtro song, at a gig with a local singer. It was really fun to play. The audience dug it.

I saw them in concert when I was in high school and had seats close to the stage-hard to remember some details from those years. It was amazing! Their voices were so powerful. I had never seen anyone sing with so much power in person. I was a fan before the concert and an even bigger fan after.

Came to appreciate them more over the years. All they did was turn clunkers into #1 hits. No session musicians, their band played all the music.

one of my sister's favorite bands. I surprised her with tickets once and we saw them at the forum... they had an organ player they callled like the wizard or the professor and he would do an elaborate opening to Chest Fever. They picked great songs and they could all sing... Their guitar player played in a weird tuning and was a fresno boy, yeah, I'm a fan... I think they are great.

I'm a huge fan. They could all sing their arses off, and the band was so dang good. Their keys guy, Jimmy Greenspooon, lived about 40 minutes from me. Sadly he passed away in 2015, as did Cory Wells.

Great band with 3 strong vox. Their ability to take other's tunes & make them their own is a talent unto itself. Not " hokey " whatsoever

I remember watching the Mike Douglas show with my grandma (she had a slate of 'her shows') and he'd have Paul Williams on and I think Paul wrote a bunch of hits that Three Dog Night had... and I thought 'man, that must be cool to write those songs'

The drummer in the live from Chcago show lives in East TN. I played bass with him on a tribute show. He's an amazing guy and super talented. Also runs a charity for inner city youth

when i got interested in music in 1971, they were the biggest thing in the world. "joy to the World" was the big hit right then. they were on the radio all the time.
