I want to try to make my own aluminum saddles and was going to use 6-32 holes for the height adjustment screws but was wondering what thread spec it is for the intonation screws (the long ones)?

I think it may be 4-40 but can anyone confirm?

    Thanks!

I just tried to run a 4-40 screw in some Fender brass saddles I had sitting around but it didn't fit. The screw they came with looks to have both a larger diameter and fewer threads per inch than a 4-40 screw.

For intonation, the 6-saddle bridge uses #4-48. The vintage bridge uses #6-32.
