Never mind ..... 1/2".
I can't figure out how to delete the post.

I was doing some work on an acoustic and had to remove the endpin jack, a standard Switchcraft. In my ineptitude, I somehow misplaced the nut and washer that go on the thicker barrel section of the jack --- the part that is inside of the guitar. But I can't find any info on what size & thread patter for that nut and washer. The smaller end that's outside the guitar is 3/8-32, the same as used by a regular speaker jack or volume/tone knob.

So if anyone knows the correct spec for the thicker part of the jack, that'll make my run to Home Depot much easier.

Thanks!

You may still be able to edit the title to say something like "EDIT - Thread size on Switchcraft jack REVEALED!". Basically, change it from a question to a statement.

I'd be quite surprised if Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, etc., have a nut that matches. Outside of an electronics supply, your best bet will be Fastenall.
