My take would be it was the guy who made the political comment that killed the thread. The other poster you mentioned did his best, but only succeeded in annoying the other posters. I wish I'd been there at the end but I got bored and quit 16 pages earlier.

That would be a no-brainer threadkiller. I remember
that thread. I thought it would be over quicker
    with some mischevious post.

Intentional Violation Of Forum Rules killed the thread .

I must have missed this one, cant pick it and there's no surprise messages in my inbox so it wasn't me. What was the prize?

It’s never too late for new threads, they can even be recycled

I don't believe the criteria was ever met. Once it moved to the Epic Threads sub-forum I took on a life of it's own and became a de-facto meme and picture thread. I once pushed it to page 2 of the Epic Threads sub-forum by posting in every thread until it fell off the front page but it was quickly found and posted in again.

Never mind that, has anyone got any tutorials for relicing picks?

I can sell you some I reliced myself for a slight upcharge.
A great deal really considering I worked on them for many weeks.
The tooth flossing marks look legit.

I want that played in look straight away. Who does the most convincing tort picks though? And does sticking them in the window work better than tea for aging them?

Dunno about that but here's a warning for shredders: don't use celluloid picks. The intense heat generated by your weedly-weedlies can start a fire!!!

Per P-Thoughts rules, I had the last legitimate post before the foul, so I am the self-proclaimed winner.:D
