It might be more accurate to try for a little more opaque, but i like the grain. I think I'm just going to clear coats. Might shoot a thin coat of tinted clear. Prob not though. Less is more, right?

The pillow really sets it off.

    Your thoughts?

Less is indeed more, and it may darken a bit with time. Looks good!

    Thanks.

You’re right. And I've always found a couple coats of clear does wonders. Always looks deeper and more interesting.

Yea, I like that a lot...you have color but still have "the wood" highlighted. That's going to be a beautiful body once the clear is on.

Looks great. That neck could use some work though.

That’s my favorite as well. I’ve got the ash body fender butterscotch tele.

Looks like the traditional Bruce Springsteen or Joe Walsh Tele. Kick arse job! I wouldn't go more opaque, that type of finish is more of a modern take on the original BSB finish.

I think it looks real good.

For me it strikes a nice balance between being too opaque and too clear.

It's definitely BSB, but it allows the nice grain pattern on that body to show through.

    Best Regards,
    Geo.
