Per previous thread "You're a couple of years late for that ... but it's been done"

I realize that and didn't buy one because of the signature, but if someone wants to build a quality rosewood - rosewood t style I might have to buy one, but still living the Martin dream.

A quick search turned up a 80s toploader on gbase.com there ya go...

Oops nevermind it sold sweet 1983 blonde 1200 in excellent.

Don’t know what the CS version is going to go for but the US model is a little over $2k and the MIM model is a little over $1k.

I’d like to give one a spin and see how it plays. I'd have one, if only as a nod to the guy who probably inspired me the most to keep playing guitar.

Meh, the 'dragon' is average at best, and the mirror one looks like something a 5 year would have done.

How is the mirror one worthy of a CS model? Beats me ...

Jimmy must have been high as a kite back in the day, when he thought this was a good idea ...

25 grand? A fool and his money ....

No strong feelings either way. Love his music but the paint job doesn't interest me at all. I'm sure it'll sell like hot cakes but I won't be buying one.

$1400 for the plain vanilla one is kinda steep for a Mexican Fender. That's what I paid for my Am Pro, and $300 more than I paid for my Am Performer.

Wanted to hate it, but kind of like it. Not enough to buy one, but I do like it.

Weird that they chose to duplicate this particular guitar of his since it was played for such a small part of LZ's existence. On the other hand, it's the only unique guitar Page has been seen with, and Page is a unique guitarist.

I actually like that ugly brown telecaster he played with The Firm.

Not going to buy one, but glad the telecaster's contribution to that early Page sound is being acknowledged.

Not for me, but if you're into a top-loader with vintage frets, those custom shop pickups, and dig the paint job, why not?

If there ever was a CS model for me to have, It would be the JP Telecaster but that’s just beyond my guitar budget. I’d like to try the MIM or MIA models and see how I like it. Personally, I kinda like the graphics and JP has been a major influence on me as a guitarist. I’m interested just based on how that guitar shaped the early Led Zeppelin sound although, it was the guy playing the guitar that really shaped their early sound.

I hate this- but its complicated.
When I was 16, I worked really hard to make a tele replica from pieces, and had an artist friend of mine paint the dragon. It looks pretty damn good...I grew up and grew out of the Led Zeppelin phase (dont flame me for saying that please).
As I started playing gigs, I'd use it as a back up guitar, and it was a great conversation starter with other guitar players. Now- they will be common, and I will look like one of the heard.

Anyone want to buy mine??? ha!!

I want to hate it, too. But when LZ1 was released, I think I wore out three copies on my turntable.
