    I had never made the connection to Loyd Bridges. I loved Sea Hunt also and Jeff Bridges.

    A fav actor. He was courageous, might have done a few roles that weren't great, but more than made up for them with the hits. 70 seems young, but it was old not so long ago...

    Same here! The Last Picture Show, Bad Company, but then, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot! He seemed to come out of nowhere with his weirdness. Especially against the stone-faced backdrop of Clint Eastwood. And that ending! A buddy-picture way up there with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid!

    I liked him in The Fabulous Baker Brothers.

    Michelle and him played well together.



    Little known fact: Pfeiffer did all her own singing in the movie and she can tie a knot in the stem of a maraschino cherry using only her tongue.
