I knew the CE sticker was still on my 2016 Squier Affinity Strat, but I just checked my 2004 Fender Lite Ash Strat and its still on that one too! I figured they'd come off eventually, but maybe not! I'll have to check my 2003 Lite Ash Tele later - I don't have it with me right at the moment. No stickers left on the 1983 Am Std Tele.

Fender hired a little guy who spends hundreds of hours putting little black stickers on the back of guitars … and then you just want to trash them ?

Gibson doesn’t put these stickers on their guitars. Less to remove.

Is there a reason you don't just peel them off if you wish they'd just fall off?

Yup, they'll come harvest your organs when you least expect it.

'06 Hello Kitty (bought used) - no sticker
'11 mim standard (bought used), '15 Baja and '18 Squier Bullet are still stickered. They'll stay on until they fall off on their own.

I wonder how many dolphins have choked on those stickers.
They cant be good for the environment. They don't look like they will break down over the next 50 years.

I wonder who got the bright idea of printing millions of those stickers and sticking them on everything to save on environmental damage.

Peeling off the stickers will kill the tone and destroy the resale value.

Aren’t these only on import guitars?

If they put these on Strats in ‘57, would those guitars be worth more now with little bin pictures on the back?

Those stickers are applied on the cheaper models to kill the tone, notice how custom shop models don't have them and usually sound better?
    Well now you know why.;)

Everyone should peal those stupid stickers off and mail them back to fender. Let them deal with how to dispose of them in an environmentally friendly oc health and safetly compliant manner.

Those stickers are crucial to my tone.
