In reality, at least in 1955 rural Oklahoma where I lived, we lived with a lot of stuff from the 30s and 40s. It wasn’t like Levittown.

They had YouTube and Instagram influencers in 1958? Because that's what she is, apparently.

She clearly has a computer and a smartphone. Are those period appropriate?

Did they have other fretted instruments as well? I think there were some things around, but I'm not really sure.

Still, you probably wouldn't be worrying about that too much in 1350, since the plague had just wiped out half of everyone...

Her style rocks. Reminds me of last summer when I went to see the Stray Cats, and there were hardcore rockabilly people there with the clothes, hair, and makeup, tattoos, too. They looked like they were having so much fun.

    The “good old days” !

    For some...

Lots of great things/objects back then.

    Some ways of life.

An old-timer who served in WWII once told me this disturbing tidbit back in the 80’s :

“The good old days ? Sure, but remember , 100% of the kids on the beaches in Normandy on D day were heroes, and 90% of them would shock you with their ideas and beliefs 2 minutes into a conversation...”
