This is uncomfortably close to the truth.

I imagine everyone had seen this little pie chart by now, but at least in my case, it's not far off...

I just happen to hold a Doctorate in musical crippling self doubt.

I see two types:

1) 10% natural talent (not tone deaf) and 90% self confident arrogance

2) 10% natural talent (not tone deaf) and 90% "dammit no matter how many times I try this I still suck!"

Near as I can tell, that grinding/ crippling/ loathsome self doubt is the primary asset!

I wish your projects could have went on.

I love your designs. I seriously wish this would have went on longer. If i can find one of yours signed, it would be a dream come true.

edit i will send a half hog who only ate chataignes for such a job. Too ahead for the past crowd, and too ahead for the present crowd. Those hogs go for a good price over there, especially for someone who can fake the corsican accent.

This went bad. I wished we could have supported you more.

Suppose that you, yes you personally, can play. Did you ever practice?

I went to the Wes Montgomery school of thought on practice, where you just open the case now and then and throw in a piece of raw meat.

Similar to the Chet Atkins school of thought on tone being in the gear.
EVH and Ted Nugent were grads of that school.

I believe this pie chart to be quite accurate about many of us as well

However, in my case, looking for pick, looking for cable, setting amp, setting footswitch, and tunig guitar, would all be combined into one giant section entitled "switching between different drive pedals"
