How would you discribe the Strandberg
The neck shape is unconventional. It's not round. It has a trapezoidal shape that shifts as you go up the neck. It took me a little bit to get totally used to it. YMMV.

Btw, the person selling their strandberg is having a hard time because it's a 7 string which is already a niche product within the guitar market. Now add headless component and it becomes a niche of niche product. The Salen model you've mentioned in the original post sells fine. I watch used ones on eBay and reverb and they are usually gone within a week or two.

I like it. I also like the original Klein guitars also.

The late Micheal Hedges used a very cool Klein "Harp" guitar back in the day.

the explorer has always been a favorite and love the Devo Guitar, however the Gibson Moderne has a place in my heart big time.Moderne is hands down Bauhaus guitar of the Twentieth century I want one !😍

I too will pass.......on all the ugly guitars like the Stranberg, Klein and headless abominations.

Oh, and my grandpa never played a Tele - he was too poor!

I have to contrast the sentiment in this thread. I am lucky i was given a Salen, with alder body. Fantastic guitar with a strong tele flavor.
It also got me really interested in tele concept, was preferring strats previously. After this i lucked out with one very vintage flavored thinline tele with huge neck.
Both are very much teles, both are very different. If those would be my only guitars, i would not complain.
Photos to follow....

P. S.
As others mentioned, ergonomics is fantastic. Very comfortable to play.
I was somewhat concerned about looks, but while playing, perspective on guitars appearance is anyway different. Lack of headstock is only noticable while tuning, which is a bit different procedure than on regular guitar.

How would you discribe the Strandberg, other than unsellable .
It’s a fantastic instrument. I think my sausage fingers are too small to take advantage of that 7 string enduro neck. It was my first foray into fan frets, a headless design and my second 7 string. I love the headless design but the fanned frets gotta go. It’s nice and light. I’d go for a 6 with standard frets without hesitation. It might not work well either but its worth a shot. Someone with average sized hands should have no problem.

Heresy here: I like it!!

Would I buy it? Well, no, because $2000 to figure out if it works for me, and probably no resale market is a risk. But, I like it.
