Big stars on that stage, all are thinking '****, I wish I could play like that....'
Willie let’s his love for Django shine on this one.
Thx for posting.
Willie is an American treasure. No, actually, he is a world treasure. It's gonna suck when he leaves us.
Willie's one of my top 5 favorite guitarists. Love the way he plays, besides that great voice and his songwriting talents. Missed a couple opportunities to see him in Oregon the last few years. Hope he still has many tours in him. I know it's become clisé, but he really is a treasure.
We like him down here
jus love me Willie. its yet to be determined who gives up 1st Willie or his trusty steed. "Trigger". If a person had to look like his guitar, a match made in Texas
Holy moly, that was a good one.
A lot of us think Henry Wagons is s**t, however.
Coolest Texan ever!
Never thought about it, but that guitar, reflects the person. Core design and potential were there from its making, but beat from abuse thru the years, conspicuous "issue" or flaw out front that defines it for some, yet, it sings and performs its function flawlessly. Some might even trade even, while others have the same guitar performing equally, without the flaw.
It is indeed a very special guitar!
It sounds great, and plays beautifully.
Long Live Willie, and Trigger!
Great start into my morning here in Germany, thank you...
