Really cool looking bass. It’s actually called a precision bass!! The telecaster name was adapted when they brought these slab bodies back out in the late 60’s. Regardless that is a killer bass!!

I think a Tele bass should have a 4 pole single coil in the set up...as they did...

    otherwise it's just a p/j bass with a Tele headstock... :)

as a point of difference/choice they should be true to what a tele bass started out as...

Cool bass. Kind of reminds me of the bass Doug Stegmeyer played with Billy Joel, although I may be wrong (but I may be right)...

Technically true but I used the product description from the Wildwood website.

@burntfrijoles Yes I see that now. I seriously thought this was a cool partscaster. It’s still cool but what the hell is fender doing? 50’s pbass styling, split pickup and a single? For what? I never understood that as a bass player, why the extra highs with a single coil back there? Then they say it’s got the feel of a 60’s pbass neck profile but then a 1.65 nut. So it’s a pbass, jazz bass and slap telecaster bass on the headstock. Seriously expensive partscaster.

Goodness, they've already sold one of the three that they had. They were just added in the last day or so.
Edit my bad, they still have all four that they received.
