I'll take Ritchie Kotzen for the win...lol.
"...the best talented musician in the world..."?
"The best musician in the world"
"The most talented musician in the world"
In either case,
Their big heads couldn't fit in the same room.
If i walked into a bar and heard this guy playing I'd walk out.
So Omaha, You're trying to say, you don't care for him?
no such animal as the best in the world. good, yes. with the influx of the internet, tons more people are able to become very good.
I discovered this guy today on Youtube! He is quite young, talks well , sings as an old fashioned crooner, plays piano, guitar, bass, drums, and has a knowledge of music that is far beyond my reach. Plus he can get Herbie Hancock to play the piano with him. So, yes « talented » is a bit of an understatement.
Or these guys...
I would totally walk out on this guy. What keeps me in my seat isn’t talent alone. Tell me a story. Move me. Take me somewhere. This why I would listen to Bonnie Raitt for hours, but could only stand 5 minutes in a room with Adele singing.
Anyway, too much explaining. Like @blowtorch said, it’s just not my thing.
Ahhh Come On! I can play circles around that guy!! Just ask my neighbors, when I start tearing it up, my neighbors throw huge rocks thru my windows just to hear me better!,,,, pffft
Too easy. Narrow the parameters.
Self styled monster Telecaster player?

(I'm seein' boobies and pentagrams. Don't click "play" if you're offended by such things.)
Redd, if Mister 5 ever plays The Continental Club ya gotta get him a hat and talk him into a haircut.
I'd suggest draggin' him to church if your set wasn't Sunday night.
Is that really fair to say?
I mean, Adele also tells stories...maybe just not the stories you want to hear?
She will also take you places. Maybe those just are places you don't care to visit?
this guy is amazing, thanks for posting.
I guess I just don’t dig her.
That was awesome!
She is very good but there is nothing I like enough to care to listen, Like I have Collier, a few times. Uh Oh! I feel a YAWN coming on.. I'd rather listen to Amy Winehouse.
Thank you so much, I put it on and fell right to sleep over the repetitiveness, and blinnding seemless endless billion notes per second. John5 is awesome, wrong thread to post it in though. No relativity here.
I hate music that relies on loops live. That's just me. What's the point of being a virtusoso if you are just going to play with yourself?
There's a joke there somewhere...
