I've asked what's up, but he's keeping quiet
Frosty showed up in the South on my bass boat.
Good to see that he is being safe.
Looks like he has seen better days. I would socially distance...
I stuffed a dummy and hung it by it's neck from our basketball hoop when I was a kid. Came home and it was gone. Cops visited because it had been burned up on someone else's lawn. So you think I burned my stuff on someone else's lawn? Really? Keep working the case, Columbo.
I’d have some kind of speaker in him or hidden for scary noises for the fun of it
Other Halloween seasons I've gone all out in that fashion.
I just put this up in case my kids happen to visit sometime before Halloween, for their amusement.
I'm hoping it doesn't attract any would-be trick-or-treaters.
Because, let's face it.
Halloween is cancelled this year.
And red light bulbs in his eye sockets hooked up to a switch.
As a kid one of my neighbors did something similar EXCEPT he switched into the clothes himself on Halloween night and scared the jeebus out of all of us when we came to the door. We had gotten used to seeing the dummy there are were cought completely unawares.
In the past, when I've had a halloween gig or otherwise not been home for halloween, I've put a big dish of candy in the scarecrow's lap, along with a sign saying "please take one or two", but I've had the suspicion that dish gets emptied in one fell swoop, often, when I do that. SO I've had the idea of dressing up like the scarecrow, and sitting there with the dish of candy and the sign, and scaring the crap out of the kid that wants to take it all.
But like I've said, not this year. Not gonna happen
Absolutely brilliant. VERY good!
I'm considering holding a coin toss on whether to give the Halloween candy to the kids, or just go ahead and turn the lights out that night and eat the candy myself.
I've only had 3 kids in 16 years. Probably safe this year too.
Halloween is still on around here. This makes the Mrs. very happy. It is her all time favorite holiday, and gives here an excuse to put on her finest witch regalia. She spends half the day with her make up and costume.
One cool punkin for another (not my doing, unfortunately).
Go on - spoil yourself
