Why, in your most ignorant, stupid or drug-addled moment, would you think that taking a blow torch to a guitar is a good idea and would 'relic' it?

There are 2 bids on it.

Honestly, I think they should take it out of it's misery and use it as fire wood. Poor thing... :(

I can't believe I said "poor thing" about a guitar.

Whats worse the relic job or the 2 bids for it. Allthough one of the bidders sounds familiar

  maybe that's the fake fuzzy... Well, think about it. Someone who knows how to work bodies can get this for a few pounds and try to save it. If it works, he'll have a nice body for a project on the cheap.

    Now THAT is awesome!

I can always count on someone here to make me bust a gut laughing. How utterly uninformed, dull, and just oblivious to the obvious do you have to be to try and peddle that crap? It's like a Far Side cartoon in color!

Okay, I don't know exactly what 300 pounds equals, but what's that "or more" about? Even is someone wanted to spend any real amount of money for that thing, does he really think anyone is going to think, "yeah, I could have it for 300, but I'd like to give him more"?

after much thought about this today.....I've come to the opinion that the only thing that they did wrong was to put the fire out!

It used to be that a "luthier" was someone with particularly fine woodworking skills turning spruce, mahogany, maple, ebony, and rosewood into beautiful playing instruments.

    Now, it's a bored guy with a belt-sander and a blowtorch.

Unless that tele was relicd by Jimi Hendrix himself setting fire to it, Id say what a waste of a good tele.
