My sister just cancelled hers. She gets broadcast HD and you gets several channels from each network, not just one. She's a premium Amazon member (free shipping on everything) and gets free movies, plus she added Netflix and has netted a savings of about 80.00 per month. The only down side is if your a sports fan you'll lose all those channels.

We've got cable/phone/internet as a package but as soon as the contract is up we're dropping the cable. It's useless anyways, 3000 channels of infomercials, redundant programming etc.....waste of money.

No cable here, and no interest in it. We download, rent or buy any movies or TV shows we want to see and nobody in our house watches sports.

I haven't watched television in some years. It's inconceivable to me that anyone would actually pay money for it.

Your teenagers would probably disagree, possibly because someone else is paying for it.

Have never had it. No Cable, Satellite. Just an over the air antenna that gets us 2 stations. That my wife and kids watch. I spend too much time on the internet, but don't spend time on TV. Every time I see cable TV at a hotel or someones house I see what I'm not missing and don't miss it.

This is an old thread, if you have not cut the cable feed already....I'd encourage you to do so.
