I make 2 of the same perimeter toolpaths, I offset one half the distance of the straight bit to cut it out, and use the other with a 45 bit, spliting the perimeter into the portions that receive the bevel and delete the others that don't.

Spraying clear coats. Should be done today. Inside the bug proof spray tent. Yeah right.

No bugs or fuzzies this time! Looks good.

Redid the pickguard. Better fit on the pickups.

Next will be getting the hardware mounted. Should be done in no time.

And it's done! We'll, not really. Got all the hardware mounted except for the jack plate. Cut the slots in the nut to allow for the zero fret. The string break angle is good. The D string just skims the edge of the slot in the headstock. Not enough to worry about. If I ever make another one I would lower the whole middle portion between the slots by an 1/8 inch. The tuner bushings were pretty easy to install. I will probably need to to a fret leveling, though I will see how it is after it sits under tension for a bit. No matter what I still need to do a setup. Also need to wire and solder the pots and switch. That will help make it an electric. It is a really light guitar. 6.2 lbs.

Yeah it came out well. Though it has taken nearly 10 years. Hopefully whoever I give it to will like it. But if they don't I can just take it back. As to how it plays, I will have to get someone else to record a demo.

Wired and soldered the pickguard. Put it back on temporarily and plugged it in. It makes guitar noises. Dumb luck.
