We had a nice downpour last night and it has been raining steadily since.

About 8am, Miz Diane and I are replanning our day (which was going to be outdoors) when we hear a buzzing noise outside...like a lightplane passing overhead...but it just kept buzzing.

Our next door neighbor is out blowing leaves. In the rain.

Hmmmmm...
Hope it wasn't an electric blower.

I had a neighbor in Greensboro that was a traveling salesman and he would be gone Monday and return Friday.
Sunday AM he would blow the leaves OFF THE TREE LIMBS and into the street.

Fortunately he kept his curious behavior to his trees.

I would have had to press charges for harassment of private vegetation if he messed with my oak tree.

I did have a couple low hanging branches that I whacked off with a machete - I was called "Machete Eddie" for the remainder of our tenure in that neighborhood. We where blessed with great neighbors and a great neighborhood, was a fun five years in the Lawndale Neighborhood.

I might not have explained it properly.

He took out the windows so now there are 3 holes in his garage walls. Then on the inside of the garage, he covered the left wall, right wall, floor and ceiling with cheap plywood that I call particle board. The front and rear walls, one is the big garage door, are untainted. I mean, if he wanted to cover the inside of his garage with plywood, couldn't he have left the windows in?

Don't get me wrong, this does not keep me awake at night. Yet occasionally, like when I saw this thread, I figured I'd toss this out there.
Did he purchase a bunch of tarps or long rolls of heavy plastic?

There’s a lady on my street who walks 2 happy lap dogs. She wears a big hat, probably 2’ wide. Totally covers her head and I’ve never seen her face. She leans at an unusually steep angle when she walks and always goes down the middle of the road. Never on the sidewalk. Cars have to wait. She doesn’t care. She drags those dogs for hours on end. They are constantly barking and if they ever slow her down she hits them with a green plastic flyswatter that she always holds in her hand.
