I think today it's more guitar buying than guitar playing, and it would be a 12 credit card program for recovery?

Doesn't have the same ring though does it?

Maybe if we got together with friends for casual credit card jam sessions where we all brought our credit cards and shopped different themes. Maybe audiences would want to watch us shop in bars too?

Wait, what, we shop in privacy?
    Bummer.

How 'bout unboxing videos and guitar porn?

My 16 year old grand-daughter tells me that I'm the only person she knows whose phone has a tail (landline).

Great Blue Herons are beautiful from a distance!
But get too close and they have just about the ugliest voice of any bird on earth.

    Don't try the heron, son!

Hey at least gramps's perform a public service by saving all those unloved guitars form landfills!
Or in Maine, from the wood stove...

I used to belt out ... --- ... on my trusty morse tapper when I felt the need for emergency responders to attend a situation, but became disheartened when no one ever showed.

Then someone explained to me by dialing the emergency number on my phone would get me in touch with anyone I needed, life was good again!;)

That's fine but tell me what kind of tone are you looking for?

The U. S. median home price in 1965 was $17,664. The median U. S. home price in 2020 is $320,000.

The median U. S. household income in 1965 was $6,900. The median U. S. household income in 2020 is $68,400.

So a home cost about two and a half years’ pay in 1965.

A home now will cost you about four years and seven months’ pay.

I think there was an episode of the new Candid Camera series where they gave some teens rotary phones and asked them to make a call. Of course, they were stumped!
I found a series on YouTube called Kids React, where they give them a rotary phone, a cassette Walkman, a film camera, a phonograph, and have them try to figure them out.

The latest round of calls I've gotten is, "I am a health professional calling about your hearing test."

To which I loudly and repeatedly respond, "WHAT? WHAT DID YOU SAY?" till they hang up.

Kids have also been shown script handwriting and asked what language it was.
