This video was fun to put together, and it seems like there's a big community of people getting into country guitar through Brad's playing.

I need your guys' help though...

What are some aspects of Brad's playing that he does and most players aren't doing? Or what is something in the realm of Paisley that you'd love to learn? I want to make this a series and I need ideas.

    Thanks!

    -Jim

Liked and subscribed. Good video. The one guy said you were slightly out of focus, and you are. Increase the aperture a bit in your camera. It's probably on 5.6 or lower. Set it to 8 or 11 (even better) then focus on the mic. That should then put you in focus.

His chromaticism, which is a 'jazz' thing.
*the best country players all have at least a little bit of be-bop in their lexicon.

I thought about this... at lest regarding my favorite players and figured something about what they do that I don't - even those who I feel I've surpassed technically.

I don't listen to Brad Paisley but like most of my favorite guitarists he clearly does the same thing that I don't really do... although I'm working on it.

    He sings.

I'm so far removed from playing any of this, it's just plain depressing. On the other hand, it's fun to watch.

Good work! Sooner or later you'll have to cover his G-bender playing too :)

    ^^ Ditto this

Paisley's is just random chromaticism sometimes ;)
